Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
As an ethical and professional firm of Chartered Certified Accountants, we take our responsibility towards our valued employees, clients, community and environment seriously. This section explains how we engage with our stakeholders and exercise our corporate social responsibility (CSR).
We know our employees are our greatest asset and the main reason why our clients remain with us. Therefore, we place great importance on attracting, developing and retaining talent. In practical terms, this means that we select and retain employees who demonstrate their professionalism, integrity and respect towards each other, our clients and third parties.
To ensure that we continue to deliver an excellent service to our clients, we invest in our people’s personal and professional development. In addition to providing financial support, our management team provide training, mentorship and practical guidance to help our people achieve their goals.
Our firm is able to grow because our clients provide us with the opportunity to serve them. Whether this is to deliver compliance services or to manage something more exciting, complex or specialised, we enjoy exceeding our clients’ expectations. This is perhaps why so many have been with us for so many years and why they continue to refer us to their friends and business associates.
We appreciate our clients and always aim to deliver an honest, transparent and professional service to them. Consequently, we provide a fixed fee structure for many of our compliance services and constantly invest in our employees training so they remain up-to-date with their knowledge and skills.
As a successful professional services’ firm, we are grateful for the support that we have received from local businesses and individuals. In recognition of our belief that as members of society we should be ethical, respectful and take responsibility for our actions, we support local, national and international charities. In addition, we encourage, sponsor and provide paid leave when our employees take action to improve the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves.
Some of the charities that we support include:
- Action Aid
- Amnesty International
- British Heart Foundation
- Cancer Research UK
- Christian Aid
- Islamic Relief
- Red Cross
- Save the Children
These charities provide food, water, shelter, clothing, education, care or carry out research, so that those in need can try to live a normal life.
We have only one planet that we call home, and we believe we should look after at it as such. That’s why we try to limit our impact on our environment by taking the following practical action:
- increase our use of electronic documents
- minimise printing
- car pooling
- use of public transport
- use energy efficient lights and equipment
- reduce our power consumption needs where possible
Through these and our other initiatives, we try to minimise our environmental footprint and move closer to becoming carbon neutral.
